Polaris changed the AC Ignition system to a DC Ignition system in late-2004 Sportsman 700 models. Please check if your model as a DC Ignition before ordering.

If you have a 2002-2006 Polaris Sportsman 600 or 700 AC Ignition you might want to consider our DC conversion kit CARM22957. This kit will give you more reliability and better spark.
